Witchy Wanda will cast her spell over all who lay eyes on her. This delightful three-dimensional "shelf-sitter" doll is stitched on 18ct. white Mono Canvas in a charming array of fun and funky fibers and stitches. Techniques taught in this class include canvas appliqué, for a three-dimensional, raised effect on the nose, and ruched ribbon as well as a variety of textured stitches. The main body of Witchy Wanda stands approximately 12 inches tall and sits on a chair or shelf with her feet dangling over the edge. The feet will be stitched as well as the main body of the doll. Buttons, beads, and spools included in the kit will be strung together to create the dangling legs. Discussions in class will include ways that the student can use some of their own beads, buttons, and findings to complete her legs and to personalize the design.
