‘Almost Spring’ is a non-charted design using a variety of threads, sheer fabrics, metallics, beads, felt padding, and wire. The techniques taught include the application, overstitching, and surrounding of sheers; working with fusible web, wire, felt and raised stitches. Student will learn to create cast shadows, perspective, and an overall effect of the gentle, quiet appearance of flowers when it is ‘Almost Spring’.
