Blue Bonnet Studio Time: Needle Arts Retreat set for February 19-22, 2011

Blue Bonnet Studio Time’s mission is to offer patronage and support to all Needle Artists by providing both students and teachers an enlightening sanctuary in which to continue their journey exploring their passion of Needle Arts together, plus nurturing fellowship amongst all needle artists over this inspirational 4-day long retreat weekend! The retreat will be held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa, 575 Hyatt Lost Pines Road, Lost Pines, Texas located 12 miles south of Austin TX along the Colorado River amid the tranquil Texas wilderness. The Luxurious Texas Wilderness Escape offers golf, fishing, horseback riding,kayaking, swimming and a wonderful spa to relax in. The hotel has several dining facilities for you to choose from or you can even go off site to enjoy your meals in various local establishments, which the concierge would be delighted to assist you in organizing. What more could you ask for! The Hyatt is offering us a special off-season rate of $160 per night and we have blocked out a limited amount of rooms at this special rate. The rate could increase if we need to add another block of rooms, so getting your hotel room reservation early is crucial.

The Blue Bonnet Studio Time registration fee is $475 and includes a closing banquet ticket featuring entertainment by Tony Mineri (NOTE: Extra banquet tickets can be purchased for non-registered retreat attendees for $75). The sixteen illustrious faculty members selected for our first retreat are renowned talented individuals coming from across the USA, Canada and the UK specializing in a wide variety of needle arts. An evening to meet and greet the teachers is scheduled with the opportunity for all attendees to purchase items directly from the teachers. We are please to announce Emily Dawson Pannier owner of Chandail Needlework of Houston will set up her shop during the event enabling attendees the opportunity to build their stash or pick up a missing supply or two.
